Patchwork Limited (Patchwork) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 

When you place an order online via our own website or by phone. We will gather the information we need to take and process your order. For example, name, email, postal address, billing address, credit or debit card number or other payment method details, contact phone number.

When you first place an order online you will also be given the option to opt-in for email marketing. We will not send you email marketing unless you tick the box to ask us to, or unless you have asked us to do so previously by way of subscribing to our newsletter or loyalty scheme. You can opt out of email marketing at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting We will action this within 30 days.

We will never send you a marketing email unless you have opted in to receive emails.


When you make an order online or over the telephone. We may take personal information such as a telephone number, email address, postal address or delivery address in order to take your order and place your delivery. We will hold that information for such a period as is necessary to fulfil the service efficiently and to be able to monitor our performance of that service. We do not enter your details on any mailing list unless you have explicitly requested that we do so via  marketing consent forms.

This personal data will be kept securely with the exception of your payment details which are sent to and managed securely by PayPal our payment service provider. We do not keep a record of your credit card or PayPal account details. 

When you subscribe to our email database or loyalty scheme. If you have opted in to receive marketing by email or any other method the legal basis for processing is called ‘consent’. We will keep personal data until you less you tell us you no longer wish to receive marketing from us, in which case we will remove your details from our list.

When you visit our website and or place an order on the website.

We use the personal data that you submit with the order to fulfil our contract to you: we use your delivery address to know where to send your order; we use your email address and mobile phone number to update you about your order status.

We will keep records of all transactions through our website along with the fulfilment of your orders. We will keep details of your visit to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, resources accessed, behaviours and patterns or otherwise.

When placing an order online, your credit card/payment details are managed securely by our service provider PayPal and we do not have access to those credit/debit card details.

Any other information gathered is used to personal your experience onsite, to improve our service, to produce targeted and relevant adverts on external platforms such as Facebook or Instagram, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.



We may collect information about your computer, including but not limited to (where available), your IP address, operating system and browser type for administration purposes and to produce internal reports for assisting with fraud check enquiries. This is statistical data relating to a web user’s browsing actions and patterns and does not specifically identify you as an individual.


You can access and browse our website at without disclosing any personal data.  Our website uses internet cookies. These are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer to improve the speed at which it can access pages of our website, thereby giving you a better browsing experience. As with all sensitive data, we keep these details securely and they are not shared with any third party unless this is required in order for us to fulfil our service to you or to comply with the law.


We do not share your data with any third party outside of Patchwork, except in the following cases where we do pass your data onto these third parties for them to provide the requested service to us. They will not pass it on, use it to fulfil services for other companies or use it for their own interests. These companies are, for example:

COURIER, or postal companies (to send orders);

PAYPAL and other payment transaction processors.

WIX who host our shop.

MAILCHIMP if you have subscribed to our newsletter.

PRODUCT SUPPLIERS  in rare cases of items that require direct
dispatch to your address.

MEMBERS OF PATCHWORK who may fulfil your request for
a deliver to your address.

OTHER THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS such as database processors.

We are also obliged to pass your personal data onto a legal authority if instructed to do so under certain circumstances, for example, for the prevention of crime or for criminal investigation.

You have the right to access your personal data (to ask us what information we hold about you) at any time.

You have the right to ask for your data to be deleted or corrected.

You have the right to ask us to stop processing your data.

You have the right to stop receiving marketing from us.
